At LKM, our canine companions help us maintain an atmosphere of informality and fun, whether greeting the FedEx man or taking a meeting with a client. The photo at the left appeared in an article about us in the San Francisco Business Times about the growth of philanthropic advisors and titled us "A New Breed." We believe we are and we are dedicated to creating the best possible experience for our clients. Our approach emphasizes the highest level of professional support combined with the belief that our clients are engaged in life-changing important work that should be enjoyable for them. Our second generation of canine advisors is K.T. the Dalmatian and Judy the Basset (died November 2010).

LKM would not be where it is today without the love and support of our founding Canine Advisory Board. Known as The Grrrls, they kept us focused on what was important and made sure we stopped for a good long walk every day. Although they have both now gone to the Rainbow Bridge, we dedicate this site to them.
